1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using LogPeak ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. License
LogPeak is provided under two tiers:
- Community (Free) — A free license for personal and commercial use with basic features.
- Pro (Paid) — A one-time purchase license that includes advanced features and one year of updates. Continued updates after the first year require an annual renewal.
3. Use of the Software
You may use the Software for any lawful purpose. You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except as permitted by applicable law
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Software
4. AWS and Third-Party Services
LogPeak allows you to connect to Amazon S3 using your own AWS credentials. Your use of AWS services is governed by your agreement with Amazon Web Services. We are not responsible for any charges, data loss, or issues arising from your use of AWS services through LogPeak.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
6. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
